Speaking of reviews, here’s a scathing review of Meg Cabot’s latest mystery, Big Boned. I’ve read the other books in this series and found them entertaining. Guess I’m one of those people who like chick-lit “despite its inherent lack of educative content.” Who says novels have to educate? Providing readers with an entertaining escape isn’t a worthy endeavor? Just a few thoughts to ponder as you prepare for turkey day.
